ClosetsbyJohn is a small independently run business owned & operated by John Reilly, who has been providing affordable custom closet organizers to Burlington and Oakville since 2008.
We use Canadian made wood shelving and American made steel rods. The shelving is made of a durable 5/8 inch white laminate melamine and rods are comprised of 1 1/4 inch heavy gauge steel tubing, cut to length. All shelving and rods are securely fastened into place utilizing as much of the existing framework as possible. A reach-in organizer can be installed in approximately 3-4hrs from start to finish and a walk-in can be complete in about 6-8hrs per closet.
Pride of workmanship and attention to detail is top priority! All work is done in a neat and tidy fashion, with the use of indoor footwear at all times and protective cloths are laid out whenever necessary. Construction is always complete in a quick and efficient manor.

We always wanted to organize our closet but thought it was too much of a hassle. We came a across Closetsbyjohn on the Hawthorne Village community website. The feedback from the website peaked our curiosity and we gave John a call and made an appointment for him to come by and give us a quote. He came to our home when he said he would and he "took off his shoes" (bonus), John then went to work quoting our job. By the time he was finished he helped us to design closet specific to our needs with a price that made us book on the spot.
John showed up on time and went to work right away he wore inside shoes and was very conscientious cleaning up whatever little mess he made. Most of the pieces were cut in advance consequently cutting was kept to a minimum. John put in a 10 hour day finishing the job exactly as planned. We couldn't be happier with his work. We plan to have him back to do our remaining closets and the laundry room in the very near future. We highly recommend Closetsbyjohn for all your storage needs.
